So, everyone's sudden disappearance makes it clear that something has changed in our feelings about what is happening in this game. i have tried to be a little more hands off in this scene and leave it to everyone to discuss IC what is going on, and advance the plot, but little has happened for nearly 2 weeks now,

are we bored with the scene? the game in general? where this plot is going?

please tell me, and don't pull any punches, how you are feeling about this thing we are doing? If you don't have the time or the inclination to play then please say so, and i can begin recruiting for a replacement. If the plot, or the game is becoming boring we can try something new.

maybe this could be the alpha version of this idea, and we start over with the beta, now that we all have a better idea how we want this thing to work. just lemme know what you are thinking.

I will be advancing the plot ahead tonight before midnight. note that i will be online tonight from 5:00pm to 12:00am rather than my usual 2-6, barring any major connectivity problems at work. Please feel free to finish up any loose ends in the scene as it currently stands.

While i love the beautiful prose that the two of you have been writing it is time to tame the beast that is your verbosity in this conversation. Please edit your poses down to the essentials. This is effectively a very minor scene in a novel so please keep that in mind as you make cuts.

Below I will post the patrons and employees of the Red Door all of which is information that everyone managed to see based of their free spot checks. If anyone noticed anything else I will PM with more Information.

To the right you will see the floor plan of The Red Door.

The bar itself is composed of pine clap board. The hearth is almost too big and bears all the earmarks of a forge, but with the accoutrements removed. The bar itself looks like a huge workbench that still bears scorch marks beneath the highly polished surface. It is plainly obvious that is establishment was once a part of the blacksmith's next door.

After the meeting with Zelania the party makes it's way over to the Red Door. It is nearly empty, and empties further when the constables enter. The few patrons who remain are all out-of-towners and carelittle to converse so instead the constables try and enjoy each others company for the intervening time

If your character is doing something different please PM me, or note it below. I will post a simple introduction to scene 3 tomorrow around noon, with something resembling the above text, but you will all have untill monday at noon to inform me otherwise. You have about 2 and a half hours to play with before the Eighth Bell.
